...Because God hates fags.

First of all, sure, in the beginning there was Adam and Eve, and that they were meant to be together. And also, there were Biblical stories in which gay people were punished, but living in one of the most homosexual-populated cities in this United States of America, I can honestly say this: why the hell isn't San Francisco wiped off of the map already? Of course, I have to admit, I am not homosexual myself, but I can honestly say that even though I am semi-Catholic, homosexuals shouldn't be punished just because they like people of the same gender. Just as it states in the Bill of Rights, everyone is born equal. That means race, religion, and sexual orientation.

So why are so many people against homosexuals? It's not like they've done anything wrong. I admit, being in a Catholic school, I might be thoroughly scolded if I've read some of my anti-homophobia essays out loud, but I do have teachers that aren't homophobic - even if they don't condone of homosexuality because it goes against their morals.

And God is supposed to love everyone, isn't He? So why should his love towards homosexuals be any different? Homophobics from their Christian roots claim that "God hates fags" but isn't it stated in the Bible? That God sent his only Son down to Earth to save all sinners? And that we should love the sinner but hate the sin? Homosexuality may be a sin by most Biblical standards, but homophobics hate both the sin and the sinner, do they not? And everybody is a sinner...and by homophobics hating said homosexuals, are they not sinning themselves?

Homophobes, think about that next time you decide to claim that "God hates fags".
